DWNUNDR was established in 2020, out of Yuendumu — a small Indigenous community in the Northern Territory of Australia. Founded in the middle of a pandemic, it grew from something deeper than circumstance.

Our founder came up across two countries, shaped by Indigenous life on both sides of the Tasman. From the red dirt of Central Australia to Aotearoa, those experiences — the stories, the people, the culture — didn't just inform DWNUNDR. They built it.

Indigenous stories, compounded by the next, have shaped a cultural understanding and an intentional reconnection to people.
